About the difference between ‘Sony lens’ and Carl Zeiss lens’?

i mean. they sell EXCLUSIVELY lenses for sony, nokia et cetera.
how different are they from lenses that leica sell? or canon or olympus or nikon?
what is the difference?

What’s all about these Carl-Zeiss lenses bullsh** on Phones?

I mean, even in 35mm digital slrs, the differences between lenses are hard to see unless you examine them at 100% zoom and use those charts with millimeter lines in them.

Will my Yashica or Carl Zeiss lens be compatible with a DSLR?

I have a Yashica Zoom lens (ML Zoom 35-105mm 1:3.5-4.5) and a Carl Zeiss Planar (1.7/50) lens. Will either (or both) of these lenses be compatible with any DSLR model?

Will Carl Zeiss lenses mount on my Nikon D80?

I wish to buy a Contax Normal 50mm f/1.7 Carl Zeiss Planar T* lens that a local resident is selling for . Will this mount on my Nikon D80? If not, can I buy an adapter that will do so?
