Do any of the Canon PowerShot SD Model Digital Cameras allow you to use the zoom feature while in video mode?

I really like the SD970 IS model but on the reviews I’ve read, many people have said that you can’t zoom while in video mode. I’d like to be able to use this feature, but than I thought maybe none of Canon’s digital camera’s allow for that.

I am using Olympus F232 Digital camera. When I copied the photos to the system, I need the Date and Time of photo shoot

What’s the best way to protect your digital photos when you are away on vaction?

If you have a digital camera and you want to protect your pictures and download them so you can take more, but you are on vacation, what do you do?
I’m not convinced that storing them on my computer or on another memory card offers much protection against corruption or damage.
