Does anyone know how to do Macro photography with a Maxxum 5D?

I have a macro lens & a more standard lens for my Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D. I cannot remember how to take macro pictures with it. I don’t remember the best way to set the camera up. HELP!

Compatible MACRO lenses for Nikon D40?

I just bought a Nikon D40 (my first DSLR) in a kit with a 18-55mm & 55-200mm VR Zoom lenses kit. However, I shoot primarily macro and am interested in purchasing additional lenses — price is an issue, so I would appreciate any suggestions of compatible brands.

A question about the zoom lenses on my camera?

Okay, I’ve read what the zoom means… but I’m still a little confused. Could someone please explain to me what it means… as simply as you know how! I have one lense thats 40mm-150mm & another thats 14mm-45mm. The smaller the number the more zoomed the pictures, right? BUT what do the millimeters mean exactly?
