Sony HDRCX130 Handycam Camcorder (Black) good or bad idea?
I am looking for a camcorder for basic home movies, and filming deer from a tree stand. stuff like that. I was just wondering what everyone thought about this camcorder. From what I see it has everything I think I need but I do not know much about them. please any and all advice will be helpfull.
That model should be fine for what you want to do. Sony is a leading brand in video cameras (they’ve been the standard for pros for decades), and the CX130 is a good combination of quality and reasonable price.
You may also want to invest in a small tripod so that you can put the camera on it and hold it still. This is important if you zoom in on something from a tree stand or other similar things. You can get pocket tripods that are inexpensive. A pillow or bean bag propped on a ledge can also serve the same purpose.
