better filter for my red eared slider tank?
im tired of cleaning the tank so dam much. the freaking filter only last for about three days! grrr. i have to keep changing the the filters! isnt there like a different type of filter that will keep the water clean for a long time!! grrr i use this filter

I bought for the Grandsons turtle we are turtle sitting ,a washable filter that fits inside and lays on the bottom of tank.It works great. I take out and wash inside and put back together and put back in tank. I now only change water once a month instead of every week. I wash filter once a week. Do not feed more food than turle can eat also helps.It is about 10 in .long and three wide and is blue color and we bought it at alligator Ally in Okla. City. They sale reptile and fish stuff.
