How could I turn my laptop into a gaming laptop?
Hi, I am currently using a 17″ MacBook Pro (with a Windows XP Professional partition) and wanted to beef it up a little bit more for gaming. I don’t wanna go out and spend a few hundred (if possible), but I want to be able to play games like Dragon Age: Origins and Fallout: New Vegas on the highest settings.
2.66 GHz; 4 gb RAM (2.72 GB specifically for Windows) ; NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT; Intel Core2 Duo CPU.. I’ll provide any other information needed.

Sorry mate, don’t think it’s possible. Upgrading a video card in a normal laptop is already hard and expensive enough. To do that in a highly specific laptop like MacBook Pros will be impossible. Even if it was possible, to get a good enough video card to play those games in highest settings into a laptop that’s not meant for gaming would make it impossible.
The MacBook Pro already has a pretty nice video card. However, it’s not meant to be upgraded or to run as a performance gaming machine. It’s the downside of a mac
