Which barlow would you recommend for this telescope?

I heard the 3x is too strong or causes blurry imaging. Should I then get the shorty barlow 2x instead?
Eyepieces are expensive, so it is down to these two barlows for extended magnification.

I’d get the 2x. You can increase its magnification by adding a spacer between the Barlow and the eyepiece. If you can afford it, go for the Shorty Plus, as it’s much better optically than the standard Shorty — I own them both.
