How much should I sell my camera for?
I’m attempting to sell my camera and all the equipment for a fair price but still make money. Everything is lightly used, in great condition and perfect working order. Also, it all comes in the original packaging, manuals and all.
What I’m going to bundle to sell:
1- Nikon D60 Digital SLR Camera with Nikon AF-S DX 18-55mm lens (owned for just over a year)
2- AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G (used only twice)
3- Camera carrying case
4- Tripod (stands about 5 ft. tall)
5- Wireless remote for the D60
The reason I’m selling is because I really need the money for bills, student loans, etc. Also, a friend of mine moved to Hawaii and a round-trip ticket to visit her will cost about $800.
I’m not selling because I’m tired of photography, but mostly out of necessity.

You won’t “make” money. You;re selling something that has depreceated so right off the bat you are losing money from your initial investment.
It’s sad that you have to sell your gear to pay your bills … I’d say 800 … maybe 900 for the whole thing …
