Using an older tv with the newer audio video cables?
I have an older tv that has the older Red, White, and Yellow connectors. I bought a new gadget that has red and white connectors but no yellow.. it has a separate cable with green, red, and blue. I hooked it up to my tv but the picture is in black and white. Can’t seem to get color to work. Any ideas? It is the Kodak Theatre HD Player. By the way, my main tv is not HD.
You will need a composite to component converter (yellow to red/green/blue). Unfortunately they are impossible to find and if you do they will be expensive. I would use that money to buy a new HDTV. See if you have other video inputs on you TV you can exploit (S-Video or VGA) they are easier and cheaper to find conversions for.
