If I am in a dark room with no flash, what f stop and shutter speed do I use?
I have a photograpy class and we have to photograph in the dark. We’re allowed to use light (ie. flash light, natural light, artificial light, etc.), but no flash. So if I’m in a dark room with the only light source being a flashlight what should my f-stop or shutter speed be? I’m only asking because I know that the light meter inside the camera isn’t really gonna read well in a dark room. I’m using rolls of Kodak Tri-X 400 speed film and T-Max 3200 speed film. The film is also Black and White. Please help.
If your light meter gives you a reading use it. Otherwise here’s a reference for you.
