What kind of cable do I need for the best quality picture view for my 42″ Olevia TV? I have seen two…?
one being the Monster Cable THX V100 CV-8 Component Video Cable & the other Eforcity 2 Meter HDMI M/M Cable, the first having three color coded wires to plug in, the second just one cable like to hook in.
I have the TV, a DIRECT TV Satellite box & my DVD player. I dont know the difference between the two, or if I need both.
Also where do they plug in? The color coded Monster one is green blue and red & the input ones in my TV are red, yellow and white.
Needless to say I am lost, help me be informed.

First of all don’t waste your hard earned money on MONSTER CABLE, Yes the leads have more gold in them , but more gold is only good if you have extremely high heat or a moisture problem. I do recommend getting a HDMI cable, EBay sells the for about $6 or you can go to wal-mart and get one for $20. I have a 73″ Mitsubishi, and I bought all the high dollar cables, but I returned them and got the cheaper ones, because there was no difference. I also have a 26″ Olevia that I put in my office, which I use the cheap cables on.
You may have to do what I did, and go buy all the high dollar stuff at first , then go get you the cheaper stuff and compare.
