Celestron Diagonal

I need advice on my accessories for my telescope?

i planning to get a Celestron NexStar 6SE as my first telescope but i am not sure whether I should get the following items:

1.NexImage
2.Celestron UHC/LPR filter
3Celestron Diagonal Erect image 45 degree

I Live in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia

1. NexImage. Astrophotography is by far the most difficult area of astronomy. Don’t waste time and money on it when there are so many other things to learn.

2. UHC/LPR filter. This is useful for observing nebulae, but won’t really help much if light pollution is a problem, which I know it is in Kuala Lumpur. Don’t expect to see much in the way of deep sky objects unless you can get well away from the city.

3. Diagonal Erect image 45 degree. Waste of money. This telescope is too powerful to be much use as a terrestrial spotting scope.

I own a 6SE myself, and the most useful accessories I’ve found are:

1. Dew shield. Absolutely essential!

2. Additional eyepieces, especially a 24mm Hyperion or Stratus and a 9-mm or 10-mm for lunar and planetary.

3. Better finder,

4. 0.63x Focal reducer/corrector. This gives you a significantly wider field of view for large deep sky objects, but may not be worthwhile in Kuala Lumpur.
