If you manual focus (with your hands) a nice DSLR lens when on auto focus mode, will it damage the lens?
I have a Canon EF 85mm f1.2L II USM Lens for Canon DSLR Cameras.
If I’m not mistaken, most lenses will get damaged when you Manual focus while on AF mode. Although I’m not entirely sure which lenses in particular I would suggest not doing so.. just to be on the safe side. I’d rather be safe than break an expensive lens.
